What am I looking for in a pool cleaner?
Before you buy a pool cleaner, there are a few things you need to take into account, including:

• In-ground or above-ground
An in-ground pool will require a more sophisticated cleaner, while an above-ground pool will be more fragile, requiring a more delicate touch. You need to buy a cleaner that is designed for your pool type in this regard.

• Pool size and shape
A smaller pool (generally defined as up to 33ft) will need a more lightweight cleaner, and some cleaners specialize in particular pool shapes.

• Budget
Robotic pool cleaners don’t come cheap. It’s worth setting a top end for your budget before you begin shopping.
