The Versatile GreenWorks 25022

As you know, one of the most challenging aspects of cutting the lawn is finding the right height for your lawn mower. Well, the GreenWorks 25022 has seven different height adjustments to help you find the best height for you. It’s fast and easy to adjust on the fly. As far as cutting you have the choice of either mulching, using the collection bag in the rear or opening the side discharge vent.

If you like peace and quiet then you’ll love this mower because it’s all electric. No gas, no fumes, no mess. Just plug it into an extension cord and it’s ready to go. Plus, it’s much cheaper to run then a gas lawn mower. The only downside that I’ll warn you of is that you’ll have to manage the extension cord as you cut you lawn. Unfortunately there’s no way around that when you have a corded lawn mower but it’s just something you get used to.

If you want a shorter extension cord then you can use a 16-guage 50 foot cord, so if you already have one then you don’t have to worry about buying one.

Durability is clearly an important factor when considering a lawn mower, or any product that will have to handle a lot of wear and tear and this is another area where the GreenWorks 25022 mower shines. The main deck (blade housing) is made of steel whereas on many other lawn mowers it’s constructed from plastic. Not only will it last longer but it’s also lighter.

If you have a small-to-medium sized lawn then this is the perfect size and power combination. If you own a massive yard then I’d suggest something bigger, such as a riding mower, to make your life easier but for an average sized lawn this GreenWorks 25022 will handle your needs.

Most people think that they have to spend a lot of money on a a lawn mower but I think you’d be surprised at how inexpensive the GreenWorks 25022 really is. It’s very affordable, and as I stated earlier, very cheap to run.

GreenWorks designed this lawn mower for consumers who don’t want to waste their time fumbling around and getting dirty. Everything is straightforward and simple. It has a single push button start. It’s easy to store with an unlocking handle that folds, and last but not least, it has an integrated cord lock that keeps your extension cord securely connected.

Honestly, there are a lot of lawn mowers out there but if you’re looking for a quality well-made electric mower that won’t break the bank and will be easy to use then this is a fantastic choice. If you have a small to medium sized lawn then the GreenWorks 25022 lawn mower should be at the top of your list.

You need to know that the only drawback to the GreenWorks 25022 is the fact that you’ll have an extension cord to deal with. If you still want a quiet lawn mower but don’t want to worry about managing an extension cord then you might be interested in the GreenWorks battery operated lawn mower that will give you the best of both worlds, but it is a little more expensive.

GreenWorks 25302 | Twin Force G-MAX

The GreenWorks 25302 is quite a beast when it comes to lawn mowers — and I mean that in a good way. It’s powered by a lithium-ion battery system that they refer to as the “G-MAX.” It’s as quiet as a lawn mower can get and you don’t have to fuss with gas or extension cords.

It comes in three different sizes so you can choose the best fit for your lawn. The sizes are 16-inch, 19-inch but the one we’re covering here specifically is the 20-inch, which has the dual-blade feature.

It’s more expensive than either a gas or corded mower but what you get in return is complete freedom of movement and up 70 minutes of continuous mowing. I think GreenWorks is quite generous because they actually include two batteries with the GreenWorks 25302 mower. That’s quite rare in the industry because as you know, lithium-ion batteries are quite expensive.

This is an excellent mower that’s very well constructed and has excellent grass cutting capabilities with its dual cutting blades. You’ll probably be surprised at how efficient and effective this battery lawn mower is. Typically the drawback of any battery-powered tool is that you’re limited by the power in your batteries but in this case since you get two batteries, that won’t pose a problem — unless you have a particularly large yard. And you can always get an extra battery if you need to extend your working time.

GreenWorks designed an excellent battery system that allows two batteries to be plugged-in simultaneously and when one battery runs out of power it automatically switches to the other one. I have to say, if you have some extra money to spend and want the ultimate lawn mower with all the bells and whistles then this is the mower for you.
