When I was a kid I had to go to my school to have fun on a playground so writing this article makes me wish I had a kids playground in my backyard when I was a kid. Honestly, how amazing that would have been for me and my friends to be able to goof off and play within the safety of my own home. Ah, if only I could go back in time.

Well, it’s too late for me to grow up with a kids playhouse but if you’re a parent and you have kids then you should consider giving your kids a space where they can safely play and hang out with friends. You’ll need a backyard, of course, but if you have the extra room and can afford it, these are wonderful gifts that provide an outlet for your kids to release their energy, and more importantly, I can pretty much guarantee that your child will have many great memories of their youth just by the addition of any of these kids playhouses.

In this day and age where kids are growing up staring at their smartphones and tablets I think it’s much healthier to help kids create healthy habits that they can continue as they get older. Encouraging kids to go outside and play is an essential part of being human and feeling alive.
